| dc.description.abstract | Η μελέτη αυτή, καταγράφει την έρευνα της υπάρχουσας κατάστασης, στην περιοχή του Δήμου Στράτου, εξετάζοντας καθένα από τα οκτώ διαμερίσματα που περιλαμβάνει μέσα από την ιστορική ανασκόπηση, την εξέλιξη του πολεοδομικού σχεδίου του συμπεριλαμβανόμενης και της σημερινής κατάστασης οργανωμένης δόμησης, επισημαίνοντας με στατιστικά στοιχεία την κατάσταση του πληθυσμού. Γεωγραφικά ο δήμος Στράτου βρίσκεται στο κεντρικό τμήμα του Νομού Αιτωλοακαρνανίας και έχει έκταση 153.307 στρέμματα. Ο συνολικός πληθυσμός του δήμου σύμφωνα με την απογραφή του έτους 2001 ήταν 6.438 κάτοικοι. Έδρα του Δήμου είναι το χωριό (η) Στράτος, η πάλαι ποτέ πρωτεύουσα της αρχαίας Ακαρνανίας, όπου και οφείλει το όνομά του. Συστάθηκε με το πρόγραμμα Καποδίστριας από τη συνένωση οκτώ (8) παλαιότερων κοινοτήτων Στράτου, Γουριώτισσας, Καστρακίου, Κυψέλης, Λεπενούς, Ματσουκίου, Οχθίων και Ρίγανης, που αποτέλεσαν στη συνέχεια τα δημοτικά διαμερίσματα του δήμου. Λειτουργεί από το έτος 1999, όπου και οργανώθηκε (01-01-1999) σύμφωνα με τις διατάξεις του Ν. 2539/1997. Ενδέχεται να καταργηθεί και να ενταθεί στον νέο δήμο Αγρινίου, κατά την εφαρμογή του προγράμματος Καλλικράτης. Θα πρέπει να προσδιορίσουμε ορισμένες παραμέτρους, που συνδυαζόμενες, αποτελούν την πραγματική σημερινή εικόνα, είναι Διαμερίσματα όμορα και έχουν κοινά χαρακτηριστικά γνωρίσματα. Πέρα των ανωτέρω, τα ενδιαφέροντα επεκτείνονται και στο φυσικό περιβάλλον, το οποίο δένει αρμονικά με τον ιστορικό πλούτο, όπως και με την χωροταξική θέση της περιοχής που αναφερόμαστε. Υπάρχει κοινός ορεινός όγκος, πεδιάδα η οποία απλώνεται σε συνέχεια του ορεινού όγκου, ο Αχελώος ποταμός που εμπλουτίζει την πεδιάδα, καθώς και η Εθνική οδική αρτηρία Αντιρρίου – Ιωαννίνων που διασχίζει την περιοχή μας. Οι ασχολίες των κατοίκων είναι κυρίως γεωργικές – αγροτικές και κτηνοτροφικές, το βιοτικό, πνευματικό, οικονομικό, κοινωνικό επίπεδο των κατοίκων βρίσκεται στα ίδια επίπεδα. Τα ήθη και τα έθιμα έχουν διαφορετική ρίζα. Παρακάτω εξετάζουμε την περιοχή κάθε Διαμερίσματος χωριστά ως προς τα δεδομένα που υπάρχουν για την έναρξη τουριστικής κινήσεως στην περιοχή αυτή. Τέλος δίνεται έμφαση στις εξυπηρετήσεις που παρέχει στους πολίτες ο Δήμος, καθώς και τα πλεονεκτήματα και μειονεκτήματά του, προκειμένου να αναπτυχθεί τουριστικά κυρίως ο αρχαιολογικός χώρος της Στράτου, παράλληλα με την αξιοποίηση των υπαρχόντων χώρων της ευρύτερης περιοχής. | el |

| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The Diploma Project, titled “URBAN DEVELOPMENT MUNICIPALITY OF STRATOS AITOLOAKARNANIA”, is written for the diploma thesis of the eighth semester of Civil Engineering of TEI Piraeus, for the year 2011. The above study is written by Eleni Sideri (student), Department of Civil Engineering of TEI Piraeus, and recommended by Mrs. Stella Tsoukatou (Competent Advisor Professor) and Mrs. Joanna Vidali (Senior Advisor Professor). This study, written in September 2011 and records research for the current status, in the area of municipality of Stratos, examining each of the eight apartments including through the historical review, the evolution of the urban plan including the current situation of the organized building, pointing to statistics from the state's population. MUNICIPALITY OF STRATOS AITOLOAKARNANIA Geographically the municipality of Stratos is in the center of the prefecture of Aitoloakarnania and has 153,307 acres. The total population of the municipality according to the census of 2001 was 6,438 residents. Capital of the municipality is the village Stratos, the capital of ancient Acarnania, where it took its current name. Founded by the program Kapodistrias by joining eight (8) older communities such as Stratos, Gouriotissa, Kastraki, Kypseli, Lepenou, Matsouki, Ochthia and Rigani, and they became the municipal districts of the municipality. The customs and traditions have a different root. Below we examine the area of each apartment separately with the available data for the start of tourist traffic in this region. Finally emphasis is given on customer service to citizens, the Municipality and the advantages and disadvantages in order to develop tourism in particular, the archaeological site of Stratos, along with the use of existing sites in the area. In this way, the problems become obvious and are given suggestions for the development of the settlement and the regeneration of the area, highlighting the archaeological site and tourist development of the City of Stratos. So we can develop a study - a proposal, which would primarily concern the tourism development of the municipality of the area of Stratos. | en |
